Mme Abra Stoakley
Primary School Principal

Mme Abra Stoakley is a visionary and dynamic educational leader with a distinguished career spanning prestigious schools in the UK and internationally. With a proven track record of driving academic excellence and institutional improvement, she specializes in all areas of curriculum development and has a keen interest in leveraging technology to enhance pupil outcomes.
Her most recent role was as Head of School at Grange School in Lagos, where she provided strategic leadership from 2020 to 2023. During her tenure, she significantly improved academic standards, leading to a marked rise in top IGCSE grades, successfully introduced a thriving Nursery provision, and oversaw ambitious facility refurbishments. She also steered the school through a successful COBIS Patron’s Accreditation and Compliance inspection in 2023.
Previously, as Head of Prep at Claremont School, Abra’s outstanding leadership was instrumental in the school being judged "Outstanding" in all areas across two full Ofsted inspections. Under her guidance, the school saw substantial growth in its pupil roll and the introduction of a three-form entry for the first time in its history.
Her earlier leadership roles include Vice Principal and Acting Principal at Kensington Park School, where she had oversight of health, safety, compliance, and operations. Abra also possesses extensive expertise in university and careers guidance, honed during her time as Head of Sixth Form, Higher Education and Careers, and Oxbridge Co-ordinator at Roedean School. There, she created a comprehensive Oxbridge preparation programme and was an active member of the UCAS Secondary Education Advisory Group.
Mme Stoakley is deeply engaged in the wider educational community, having served as Vice President of the Association of International School Educators of Nigeria (AISEN) and as a Co-opted Member of the COBIS Board of Directors. She currently serves as a judge for the Independent School of the Year awards.
She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Studies in Education from the University of Cambridge, a PGCE in English from King’s College, London, and an MA in Shakespeare and English Literature from the University of Bristol. She began her academic journey with a BA (Hons) in English and American Literature from Brown University in the USA.

Mme Jessica Hudson
Secondary School Principal

Mme Jessica Hudson serves as the Secondary School Principal at Lycée Français International de la Louisiane. A proud native of New Orleans and graduate of the city’s public school system, she brings both deep local roots and a strong commitment to academic excellence.
Mme Hudson earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana and began her professional career as a Public Health Laboratory Scientist, where she was part of the team responsible for testing Gulf seafood following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. This experience ultimately inspired her to transition into education.
She began her educational career as a high school chemistry teacher and has since taught every high school science course, including Advanced Placement (AP) Chemistry and Environmental Science. Over the years, Mme Hudson has held multiple leadership roles: Science Department Chair, PLC Leader, Mentor Teacher, Test Coordinator, Instructional Coach, Dean, and Interim Assistant Principal.
Mme Hudson believes effective school leadership requires a comprehensive understanding of school operations at every level. That belief has guided her professional development and leadership philosophy. In recognition of her excellence in teaching and leadership, she was named Teacher of the Year in 2017 for her charter district, selected as an NSTA/Shell Science Lab Regional Challenge Winner, and completed the Urban League’s ULEAD leadership development program.
She also holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Her primary areas of focus include strengthening instructional quality, supporting teacher development, and cultivating a positive, high-performing school culture. Mme Hudson is deeply committed to the principle that every child has the right to a free, high-quality education.
Mme Christine Stoudt
Lafayette Campus Principal

Mme Stoudt is honored to serve as the Founding Principal for Lycée Francais International de la Louisiane-Lafayette. Lycée Français is expanding and will open an additional campus in Lafayette, Louisiana in 2027. As a Louisiana native, Mme Stoudt is happy to be headed home.
Mme Stoudt is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience improving K–12 academic outcomes, developing high-performing teams, and driving strategic school growth.
While in her role as Director of Academics, she provided leadership and coaching to charter school principals and instructional teams, implementing mentoring programs, professional development systems, and data-driven academic and operational strategies. Her work consistently elevated school performance, strengthened instructional quality, and increased staff satisfaction.
As a Founding K–8 Principal at Nashville Collegiate Prep and Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy, Mme Stoudt built thriving school communities from the ground up. She recruited and developed exceptional staff, cultivated a collaborative and positive school culture, and oversaw all operational functions. Under her leadership, both schools achieved and maintained high academic ratings, earned distinctions for growth and equity, and expanded successfully to serve more students.
Mme Stoudt’s earlier tenure with the Clark County School District in Nevada further demonstrates her leadership versatility. As Coordinator IV, Coordinator III, and Ombudsman, she supported district executives, managed large-scale budgets, led administrator mentoring programs, delivered professional development for teachers and leaders, and resolved complex grievances with fairness and discretion. She also brings first-hand classroom and school-level administrative experience from her years as a middle school ELA teacher and secondary school administrator.

Mme Lauren Morel
Vice Principal

Mme Lauren Morel earned her Bachelor's of Science in Education with a specialty in Early Childhood Education. Before serving as Vice Principal, Mme Morel worked as a fourth grade STEM teacher and a Math Resource Teacher at Norco Elementary School. Mme Morel joined LFI as an SBLC and 504 Chairperson before becoming an Academic Interventionist. Mme Morel hails from Opelousas, Louisiana and resides in the Greater New Orleans area.
